1.1 Information You Provide Directly
We collect information you give us when you join the waitlist, contact support, or otherwise interact with the Services. This may include:

- Account details (once the mobile app launches), such as profile information, travel preferences, and saved itineraries
- Communications you send to us, including support requests and feedback
- Survey responses and any content you voluntarily submit
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
When you use the Services, we automatically collect certain information about your device and how you interact with us, including:
- Device identifiers, IP address, browser type, operating system, and language preferences
- Usage data such as pages viewed, links clicked, time spent on pages, and referring URLs
- Approximate location derived from IP address, and — with your permission inside the mobile app — precise location data
- Cookies, pixels, and similar technologies as described in our Cookie Policy
1.3 Information from Third Parties
We may receive information about you from partners and integrations, including:
- Authentication providers (e.g., Apple, Google) if you choose to sign in through them
- Analytics providers such as Google Analytics
- Affiliate networks such as Travelpayouts, which may share information about bookings or clicks attributed to RoviGo
- Travel inventory providers (hotels, flights, activities) when you make bookings through the Services

We use the information we collect to:
- Operate, maintain, and improve the Services
- Personalize travel recommendations, itineraries, and safety insights based on your stated preferences and behavior
- Send you product updates, launch announcements, and marketing communications you've opted into (you can unsubscribe at any time)

- Monitor and analyze trends, usage, and the effectiveness of features
- Detect, prevent, and address technical issues, fraud, or abuse

3. Artificial Intelligence and Third-Party Processing
Some RoviGo features rely on third-party AI providers (such as Anthropic) to generate recommendations, itineraries, and chat responses. When you use these features, the content of your messages and relevant trip details may be sent to those providers to produce a response. We do not use this content to identify you to third parties beyond what is necessary to operate the feature.
4. Affiliate Relationships and Tracking
RoviGo participates in affiliate programs, including programs operated by Travelpayouts and similar travel-affiliate networks. When you click a link to a partner site or complete a booking, we and our partners may receive information about that interaction (such as a click identifier, the destination viewed, or a confirmed booking) so we can be credited for the referral. This may involve setting cookies or passing identifiers to the partner. We do not sell your personal information, but affiliate tracking does involve sharing limited data with these partners as described.
5. How We Share Information
We share information only as described in this policy, including with:
- Service providers who perform services on our behalf — hosting, analytics (Google Analytics), email delivery, customer support tooling, and similar infrastructure
- AI providers (such as Anthropic) that process your messages and trip details to generate recommendations and chat responses
- Affiliate and travel partners as described above, when you click affiliate links or make bookings
- Authentication providers if you sign in through a third-party provider
- Legal and safety recipients when we believe disclosure is reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of RoviGo, our users, or others
- Business transfers in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case affected users will be notified
