RoviGo App — Terms of Service

ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By downloading, accessing, or using RoviGo ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App. You must be at least 18 years old to use RoviGo. These Terms form a binding legal agreement between you and RoviGo Technologies LLC ("RoviGo," "we," or "us").
THE APP IS A GUIDE, NOT A GUARANTEE OF SAFETY
RoviGo is an informational and guidance tool only. It helps you plan and navigate travel, but it does not and cannot keep you safe, prevent harm, or guarantee your security. We do not monitor your safety, control conditions where you travel, or intervene in emergencies. Nothing in the App — including Rovi AI, safety scores, area information, or any feature — is a substitute for your own judgment, professional advice, official government guidance, or emergency services. You are solely responsible for your own safety and decisions while traveling.
ASSUMPTION OF RISK
Travel is inherently risky and can involve crime, accidents, illness, natural events, political instability, and other dangers beyond anyone’s control. By using RoviGo, you knowingly and voluntarily accept all risks associated with your travel and your use of the App. You understand that information in the App may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or unavailable, and that you use it at your own risk. You agree that RoviGo is not responsible for any harm, injury, loss, or damage arising from risks inherent to travel or from your reliance on the App, except as required by California law.
ROVI AI — IMPORTANT LIMITATIONS
Rovi AI is powered by artificial intelligence, including third-party AI services (currently Anthropic). AI-generated responses are produced automatically and may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, biased, or wrong. AI output is informational only and is not professional advice of any kind. You must independently verify any AI-generated information — especially anything affecting your safety, health, money, legal status, or travel plans — through official and qualified sources before acting on it. Do not rely on Rovi AI in any emergency. We do not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or availability of AI features and are not liable for decisions you make based on AI output.
NOT PROFESSIONAL ADVICE
RoviGo does not provide medical, legal, financial, security, immigration, or emergency-services advice, and nothing in the App creates any professional relationship. Information about destinations, safety, health requirements, visas, currency, or local conditions is general and may not fit your situation. Consult a qualified professional and official government sources for advice specific to your circumstances.
EMERGENCIES
RoviGo is not an emergency service and must never be used as one. In any emergency, contact local emergency services directly. Features that help you locate hospitals, embassies, or transport, or share your location, are conveniences that depend on your device, your connectivity, and third-party services, and may be unavailable or inaccurate when you need them. Never rely on the App in a life-threatening situation.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
You agree to use the App lawfully and to provide accurate information. You are responsible for your own travel documents, insurance, health precautions, compliance with local laws, and all decisions you make. You agree not to misuse the App, attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer it, or use it in any way that could harm RoviGo or others.
LICENSE & INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The App, including its design, features, text, graphics, logos, and software, is owned by RoviGo Technologies LLC or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on devices you own or control, for personal, non-commercial use, in accordance with these Terms and the usage rules of the app store you downloaded it from. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, rent, or lease the App or any part of it. All rights not expressly granted to you are reserved.
SUBSCRIPTIONS & BILLING
RoviGo Pro is offered as auto-renewing Monthly and Annual subscriptions, including a limited Founding Member annual plan; current prices are shown in the App before you purchase. All billing is handled by the app store you purchased through — Apple’s App Store or Google Play. We never receive or store your payment card information. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their respective policies. Prices and plans may change; changes apply to future billing periods.
BOOKINGS & TRAVEL PARTNERS
Hotel and flight bookings offered in the App are fulfilled by our booking partner, Nuitee, through its LiteAPI platform. Checkout takes place on Nuitee’s booking platform, and your payment is collected and processed by Nuitee — RoviGo never receives, processes, or stores your payment card information. Bookings, payments, cancellations, refunds, and booking support for hotels and flights are handled by Nuitee under the terms and cancellation policy shown at checkout; some flight changes or cancellations must be made directly with the airline, as indicated in your booking confirmation. Tours, activities, and experiences are provided through partners such as Viator: those bookings are completed on the partner’s own website under the partner’s terms, and support and cancellations for them are handled by that partner. RoviGo earns a commission on qualifying bookings. We are not the seller or provider of any travel product and are not responsible for the acts, omissions, or services of travel suppliers or booking partners. If these Terms conflict with a booking partner’s terms regarding a booking or payment, the booking partner’s terms control. Our support team at support@rovigo.io can help with the App and your RoviGo account, but cannot modify, cancel, or refund travel bookings.
CHANGES TO THE SERVICE
The App and its features — including Rovi AI, booking integrations, and the third-party services the App relies on — may change, be interrupted, or be discontinued at any time without liability to you. Where a change materially affects a paid subscription, the Subscriptions & Billing section governs.
TERMINATION & SUSPENSION
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms, pose a risk to other users or to RoviGo, or as required by law. You may stop using the App at any time and may delete your account in Profile settings. Upon termination, your license to use the App ends. Sections that by their nature should survive — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, and dispute resolution — survive termination.
NO WARRANTIES
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AND UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION. We do not warrant that the App, its information, or its features will be accurate, reliable, available, or suitable for your needs.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ROVIGO AND ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, OR FOR ANY PERSONAL INJURY, DEATH, OR PROPERTY DAMAGE, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP OR YOUR TRAVEL — EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100). Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded under California law, including liability for gross negligence, recklessness, fraud, willful misconduct, or wrongful death (California Civil Code Section 1668). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.
INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RoviGo and its owners, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, your violation of any law or third-party right, or your travel activities.
APPLE & GOOGLE APP STORE TERMS
These Terms are between you and RoviGo Technologies LLC only — not with Apple Inc. or Google LLC — and Apple and Google are not responsible for the App or its content. Your license to the App is limited to a non-transferable license to use it on Apple-branded or Android devices that you own or control, as permitted by the applicable app store’s usage rules, except that the App may be accessed by other accounts associated with you via family sharing or similar features. RoviGo, not Apple or Google, is solely responsible for the App and its maintenance and support; Apple has no obligation to furnish any maintenance or support services. If the App fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price of the App (if any) to you; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation, and any other claims, losses, or damages attributable to a failure to conform to a warranty are RoviGo’s responsibility as described in these Terms. RoviGo, not Apple or Google, is responsible for addressing any claims by you or a third party relating to the App or your use of it, including product liability claims, claims that the App fails to conform to legal or regulatory requirements, and claims arising under consumer protection or similar laws. In the event of a third-party claim that the App or your use of it infringes intellectual property rights, RoviGo, not Apple, is responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of that claim. You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. government embargo or designated by the U.S. government as a terrorist-supporting country, and that you are not on any U.S. government list of prohibited or restricted parties. You must comply with applicable third-party terms of agreement when using the App, such as your wireless data service agreement. You and RoviGo acknowledge that Apple and Apple’s subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms as they relate to your license of the App, and that, upon your acceptance of these Terms, Apple has the right (and is deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary. DISPUTE RESOLUTION; ARBITRATION; CLASS-ACTION WAIVER
PLEASE READ THIS CAREFULLY — IT AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS. Most concerns can be resolved by contacting support@rovigo.io, and we ask that you contact us first. Except where prohibited by law, you and RoviGo agree to resolve any dispute through binding individual arbitration, not in court, and YOU AND ROVIGO WAIVE THE RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL AND THE RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION. Either party may bring an individual claim in small-claims court. YOU MAY OPT OUT of this arbitration and class-action-waiver provision by emailing support@rovigo.io within 30 days of first accepting these Terms; if you opt out, disputes will be resolved in the courts described below.
GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Subject to the arbitration provision above, any dispute not subject to arbitration will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
CHANGES; SEVERABILITY; CONTACT
We may update these Terms; material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date, and your continued use means you accept them. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. For questions about these Terms, contact us at support@rovigo.io.
